WebMax
BOCES Media Catalog has hundreds of videos and DVDs available to support classroom instruction.  Log-in information is available in the library.

EBSCO 
Includes two student databases and Masterfile select which provides full text from nearly 800 periodicals.
PowerMediaPlus
Videos available for download or viewing.  This Resource is provided through BOCES and can also be accessed through WebMax.  Use WebMax log-in information.  
ERIC-Education Resources Information Center
Sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, provides access to over a million citations from educational sources.
MarcoPolo
A searchable database of lesson plans and Internet Content for the classroom, evaluated and standards-based. 
FirstSearch 
Includes World Almanac, Wilson Select Full Text (1300 journal titles), MEDLINE, WorldCat (worldwide library holdings) and indices of articles, papers, and worldwide conference proceedings.  You will need the username and password even from school.
MarcoPolo NY
A searchable database of MarcoPolo Lesson plans specifically evaluated and aligned to the NYS learning standards.  
Gale Databases
Includes Health Reference Center, Junior Edition K-12 (periodical database for students in Jr. High and Middle School), Business and Company Resource Center, Reference Link (newspapers, Consumer Reports, ERIC, MEDLINE, and New England Journal of Medicine), and Twayne's Author Series. 
NetTrekker
A subcription search engine for students that we have purchased for our district.  There are 3 different search levels.
NewsBank
Complete full-text content of local and regional newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and more.
New York Virtual Learning Space
Includes clickable links to the NYS learning standards and lessons.  First choose a standard area and then click on "Explore the standards and associated resources".
ProQuest Professional 
To search for just educational publications change the database to "Education-Education Periodicals."
