COMPUTER SOFTWARE, LASERDISC OR VIDEO:

Title. Format. Producer, copyright date.

Example:

Schindler's List. Videorecording. MCA, 1993.

TELEVISION OR RADIO PROGRAM:

"Title of Episode (if given)." Title of Program. Series title (if given). Name of network. Call letters, location of local station (if given). Broadcast date.

Example:

"The Beginning." Middlemarch. Masterpiece Theatre. PBS. WSKG, Binghamton.

BOOK CITATIONS

BOOK BY ONE AUTHOR:

Author's last name, first name. Book Title. Place of publication: publisher, copyright

     date.

Example:

BOOK BY TWO AUTHORS:

Author's last name, first name and second author's first name then last name. Book

     Title. Place of publication: publisher, copyright date.

PREPARING YOUR FINAL WORKS CITED PAGE

The Works Cited Page is the only place where readers will be able to locate complete information about all the sources you have used.

For that reason, your Works Cited Page must be thorough and accurate.

Begin on a new page.

Write Works Cited Page in the center of the page about 1 inch down from the top of

the page.

Copy the information from the documentation card that comes first in alphabetical

order, starting at the left edge of the paper and filling up each line across the page

before going on to the next line.

Indent 1/2 inch at the beginning of each line after the first line for each entry.

Do not number or label your sources in any way.

Double space each line of information. Double space between sources.

ABBREVIATIONS

If you cannot find information about your source, use the following abbreviations:

no date n.d.

no page numbers n.pag.

no place of publication n.p.

no publisher n.p.
