District Exposure Control Plan

The changes in the Exposure Control Plan this year are the addition of information about the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) and additional job classifications that are eligible to receive the HBV Vaccine because the duties of these jobs may involve greater risk of occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. The Exposure Control Plan includes:

 

• Epidemiology of Human Immunodeficiency Virus, Hepatitis B Virus and Hepatitis C Virus
• Identification of Job Duties with high risk of exposure to blood borne pathogens
• Universal Precautions & Personal Protective Equipment Emergency Procedures
• Emergency Procedures
